Leveraging PyFluent to Develop Custom Workflows and Automated Solutions

PyAnsys is a set of technologies that allows users to interface with Ansys products through Python. The PyAnsys project is Ansys’ commitment to open source where we provide Python libraries that expose our technologies into the Python ecosystem. PyFluent is a newly released Python package allowing users to interface with Ansys Fluent to automate processes, build custom workflow, craft customized solutions and much more.

This presentation will provide an introduction to what PyFluent is, cover the capabilities, and include a demonstration of PyFluent in action.

• Using Fluent within or alongside other Python environments.
• Access all Fluent text user interface (TUI) commands for meshing, solving and post-processing.
• Empower automation utilizing the Settings API (beta).
• Extract field data and use with standard Python tools.
